A tense situation prevailed between demonstrators and the police outside the law college when the demonstrators attempted to handover a petition to the law college principal in Hulftdrop a short while ago.

The petition highlighted the registration of students where Muslims are in the majority than students belonging to other religions. More police officers were deployed to bring the situation under control. (TFT)

What has happened is part of the Mahinda Chintanaya

Few years ago a similarly unqualified student named NA- FLOWER entered law college. The LAW COLLEGE principle came with beetle leaves and bent backwards to receive this student NA- Flower- when he first attended lectures. Did anyone protest about this?
Then when NA -flower sat the final exam at LAW College, he answered the paper ALONE from the Principle's room, with an air conditioner cooling the student. The cooling was so good NA- Flower scored 90%. A fellow student protested, about the unfair practice- he was bashed up in a bus.

If there is a genuine mistake - should protest etc.
Else should not bring communal points for every thing. This has become a pattern in Sri Lanka not specially after the war.

Each one has the right to practice his / her religion without troubling others. Just because other community is doing some thing you do not have to do some thing counter attack them. Now this is common in Sri Lanka

None of a race is highly intelligent in sri lanka as compared to others.This type of discrimination happened when sawabasha introduced in A/L science.(1970). What gov. did was standardization. This is a scientifically accepted solution.
