Polish national arrested with 200,000 Saudi Riyal

Customs officers arrested a polish national at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning allegedly having in his possession Saudi Riyals 200,000 worth Rs.7 Million.

Customs media spokesman Leslie Gamini said at the time of the arrest by the Airport Authority officers, the suspect was awaiting his flight to Singapore. He said the cash was concealed at the bottom of his bag. (Chaturanga Pradeep)
