Eleven suspects who were arrested on charges of having been involved in the Pepiliyana mob attack, which damaged a Heavy Duty Machinery Company and the Fashion Bug clothing store, were remanded today and would be produced at an identification parade at the Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.

On an earlier date the Mirihana Police Special Crime Investigation Unit produced six suspects before the Magistrate and they were remanded till today.

Yesterday six more suspects including a student was produced before the Magistrate on charges of having been involved in the attack.

Magistrate Ajith P. Masinghe released the student on a Rs.7,500 personal bail but ordered him to appear in court today while remanding the other five suspects till today.

Attacked and damaged millions millions remand only for 1 day.. Burning a very old tyre during hartal no damage nothing harm to anything remanded 2 weeks, this is srilanka law,,
