Peliyagoda UC budget defeated again
The annual budget of the UPFA-controlled Peliyagoda Urban Council was defeated for the second time today by three votes.
When the vote was taken up today for the second time, three ruling party members and three UNP members voted against it. The budget received three votes for and six votes against it as was the case at the first time.
The budget was defeated when it was tabled last Friday (14) in the same manner.
