We don't need a airport this only for the rich people.We need more trains to run on time and this is not like the airport this will be for the people.We do have to wait for the bus to take us any where if we have a good train service.

You are right we do like that very much.So far no one have come forward to open this road and talking about the the K.M.C not about this. We do respect all Mahanyakes please help us to open this road.Ok if you are colsed it will be closed for every one.This we can understand if it is closed for every one this road.We don't need a airport we need good train servic this will be very good.

Before thinking of an airport, please open the road in front of the Dalada Maligawa, which is a national A class road (A26) which is still been kept closed while all other such barriers in SL had been removed. This is a great inconvenience to the residents in an around Kandy, who have to waste lots of their time in going round the congested lake round road. For whose benefit is this kept closed, even after the Mahanyakes have not objected to opening the road for the relief of the public?

There are lot more important things need Kandy citizans.. Like drinking water project and Solution to Traffic conjestion.. It took around 4 years to built Katugasthota New Bridge... Another election promise....

VERY COMMENDABLE ! WHILST BUILDING THE AIR PORT SO THAT A FEW WELL TO DO PERSONS CAN REACH KANDY QUICKLY IN COMFORT, IT WOULD BE ALSO NICE TO SEE THE CONDITIONS IN SOME OF THE INTERIOR HOSPITALS ARE IMPROVED, TRANSPORT ON THE GROUND STREAMLINED AND A FEW HOUSES BUILT FOR THE VERY POOR.
