Naval rating falls to his death
A naval rating attached to the Trincomalee Naval Base had fallen to his death from the third floor of a building in the camp.
The 25-year-old rating was a resident of Maradana, Colombo.
Trincomalee Chief Magistrate K. Swarnarajah who held the preliminary magisterial inquiry at the scene had ordered a postmortem examination.
Trincomalee Harbour Police are investigating. (Amadoru Amarajeewa)
