Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) member Milroy Perera was arrested yesterday for allegedly harassing an 18-year-old girl during a get-together recently, Police said today.

The suspect was alleged to have sexually harassed the girl who was a neighbour, during a get together held in Kandana.

The Kandana Police arrested him after he surrendered yesterday. He would be produced before the Negombo Magistrate today, Police said.

Negombo Magistrate Court Acting Chief Magistrate A.M.L.T. Amarasinghe today remanded the suspect until December 18.
