MSD officer remanded
A Police Sergeant attached to the Ministerial Security Division, who was a body guard of the Western Province Governor Alavi Moulana, was remanded by the Mt.Lavinia Magistrate, Ruchira Weliwatta for causing injuries to another body guard.The injured person is currently receiving treatment at the Kalubowila hospital. Initial police investigations revealed that the victim was injured when the suspect accidentally shot him while attempting to unload the pistol.
