President Mahinda Rajapaksa has directed the BOI Chief to give one million rupees to the family of the youth, who died during a clash with the Police in Katunayake few days ago, the President’s Media Unit announced a short while ago.

Whose money is it anyway? It is easy to donate money as long as it does not come out of one's own pocket. Actually, the money should have come from the pocket of the person who gave orders to the Police to shoot but that sort of accountability will never happen in this country.
