A wavy type disturbance in the Easterly wind flow has developed in the vicinity of Sri Lanka, Department of Meteorology said.

Under its influence cloudy skies would be experienced over most pats of the island.

There would be showers or thundershowers at times with hail falls at some places in the Northern, Eastern, Central, Uva and North-Central provinces and in the Hambantota district, it said.

There may be temporary localized fairly strong winds during thundershowers, the department said.
There will be showers or thundershowers at times in the sea areas off the Eastern, and South-Eastern coasts and the sea areas may be rough at times.
