Video: Mervyn is a patriot says BBS
The Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) organisation today hailed Minister Mervyn Silva as a genuine patriot and was much better than other ministers.“Unlike other so-called patriotic ministers, Minister Mervyn Silva is a better and a realistic person,” BBS General Secretary Ven. Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera told a news conference.
He lashed out at Ministers Rauf Hakeem, Wimal Weerawansa, Vasudeva Nanayakkara and Dilan Perera for making incorrect statements against the BBS and challenged them to an open debate.
“I’m challenging them for a debate on the BBS and on other issues. They are the ones who are feeding the international community with wrong information about the BBS,” the Thera said. (Darshana Sanjeewa and Lahiru Pothmulla)
