Mervyn meets BJP

The Indian Barathiya Janatha Party (BJP) delegate Ravi Sahnkar Prasad had said that he would provide all assistance to Minister Mervyn Silva in promoting religious co-existence among Hindus and Buddhists during a meeting held today with the Minister in Colombo.

BJP MPs from India is currently touring the country.

A release issued by the Ministry of Public Relations said that the delegation had discussed methods of increasing ties of the two countries regarding promotion of religious coexistence.(DM Online)

Sad to see the kind of persons who are given the responsibility to represent our country. (On second thoughts was Mervyn being sent to make the Indians feel that they are not being taken seriously?)
