Ending a roller coaster campaign of World Cup, the Sri Lankan Women’s cricket team, were placed fifth in the overall rankings after they beat South Africa by 87 runs today.

In the playoff match for the 5th place, the Sri Lankan women batting first scored 243/7. The South Africans were then bowled out for 156 for 40 overs.
The grand finale between Australia and West Indies will be held on February 17, in Mumbai
