Sri Lankan Ambassador Ahmed A Jawad left for Colombo yesterday upon completion of his tenure in the Kingdom.
Jawad completed his term on Dec. 9 following three years of service in the Kingdom.

He paid a courtesy call on Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Protocol Allauddin Al-Askary to inform the Saudi government of his final departure.

During his period in office, he had contributed a great deal toward promoting the cultural interests of the Sri Lankan community in the Kingdom. (Source: Arab News)
