wickrama Friday, 08 October 2010 12:09 PM
JVP should not accept the vacant MP post to mark their protest for removing SF.
bernard Friday, 08 October 2010 04:30 PM
They should hold a by-election and let the people decide on whom they want. That is the democratic way.
citizen1 Friday, 08 October 2010 06:13 PM
You make a good point. All this strange behaviour is due to panic and paranoia. 100% insecurity.
citizen1 Friday, 08 October 2010 06:16 PM
Ofcourse they should, but that will happen in our dreams unfortunately! 'People' have become an inconvenience to the current bunch.
JAMES Friday, 08 October 2010 10:44 PM

Smart Aleck Friday, 08 October 2010 11:08 PM

The only mistake SF did was that he contested the presidential Election. The actual result of the elction has made the Govt to panic.

Must it not be the duty of the DNA to suggest Nipuna's name first, rather than the Elections Commissioner?
Bu Friday, 08 October 2010 11:04 AM
KP should be appointed......
Hafiz Friday, 08 October 2010 11:09 AM
I doubt Lakshman or any others who follow will take oaths despite Election Chief has done his routine constitutional duties.
