Kidnapped child: Police seek public help

Police today sought help from the people to find the four-year-old Damindu Yasen Ekanayake who was alleged to have been kidnapped by four unidentified men after assaulting his parents on Monday night.

The little boy resided with his parents at the Katugampalagama village in Meegalewa.

The Meegalewa Police said the men were wearing masks and had forcibly entered the boy’s home. The kidnappers have not demanded any ransom and the child’s whereabouts are still unknown.

Police headquarters requested the public to inform the nearest police station or to Senior DIG Jagath Abeygunawardane on 0718137007 or SSP Chandana Alahakoon on 0774784635 in case they had any information on the whereabouts of the child.

Kidnappers are going contact this child's mother who is torment not knowing whereabouts.May the Lord bring them emotional healing and soften the hearts of the kidnappers.I pray that this child will be reunited with his family in Jesus Name.Amen!
