Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa said yesterday that the strong statement issued by India at the UN Council session raising accountability issues at war came both as a surprise and a big disappointment.

He said Sri Lanka had made available all the documents prepared in conjunction with international humanitarian agencies on accountability on various subjects pertaining to the war and that these agencies had cleared Sri Lanka.

“While Sri Lanka understands the domestic compulsions of New Delhi, we were expecting the Indian government to be fair by Sri Lanka as we had substantiated our claims with facts and figures,” he said

Millions of civilions were and even today continue to be killed in iraque,afganistan pakistan.,katrina displaced people of usa still live on charity(non governmental).and usa is talking of killing of terrist as human rights vialation. do they talk of rights vialation in palastine. israil. have they even once express sorrow of dropping atomic bobs in japan killing millions and leaving more millions to live misarable lives for years and yeara. Pl. note the bombs were dropped after the surrender of the japanese army. they dropped the bomb after the surrender to test the effectiveness of the bombs.

It was created by Indira with RAW to teach a lesson to yankee diki JRJ.They armed & trained the LTTE cadres in guerrilla ware fare to break up & kill people in SL.This being the background,India can not do anything else but keep supporting LTTE cadres in TN. The best strategy is work with our true friends China, Pakistan & the like build a very strong defense force including high tech war machines like Israel so ultimately no one dares to ignore us

Why just Sri Lanka being singled out for these things? Look at all the worse things being done by US, India and many others. No one dares to talk about them. Indians speak about human rights violations in SL but look how innocent Sri Lankans are being targeted in TN in very brutal ways. Look how they steal fish from our waters. US nor any other countries which voted against us does things like this. Indians are part of making our problem worse when they interfered in the 1980s. I need not explain how the Indian army treated our Northerners when they were here. No other country has treated us this way. That's why we treat India as a country unworthy of our friendship.

Muslims and Monks are fight with the religious issues. All the religions say good things and power hungry people are misuse the religions to get what they wants and they don't care about their country or people. Hopefully, Sril Lankan politicians should look after all the Citizens are equal bring peace, honesty and harmony in this Island. All Citizens are free to move around the island.
