Video: I will make more: Macrae
The visiting Channel-4 Journalist Callum Macrae, who made the controversial War crimes documentaries on Sri Lankan civil war, said today that he would make documentaries in future if there were evidence on war crimes.Mr. Macrae was speaking to the media following a news conference held by the Samagi Balawegaya (Force for Unity) an ally of UNP at Jathika Sevaka Sangamaya headquarters today.
“If there is enough evidence I will make more documentaries on alleged war crimes committed by both Government and the LTTE. But it is not certain,” he said.
He said the government should investigate into alleged war crimes without denying allegations.
He said he was only following his duty as a journalist and said the documentaries he already made were based on evidence. (YP & LSP)
