“We have identified 24 suspects including monks who were involved in the protest. The Police will file the facts in court and thereafter the law will be applied considering it as a serious crime” police spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana told Daily Mirror Online.

A protest took place in Hikkaduwa on Sunday in the presence of the media including TV crew.
