Gunmen kill one, injure another
One person was shot dead and another was injured when two gunmen who arrived in a motorbike had opened fire at Batewela Junction in Nawagamuwa last night, Police said.
Police said the motorbike, in which the gunmen had come, was found in a forest nearby.
The deceased had identified as a 27-year-old resident of Batewela. The 19-year-old injured was admitted to the National hospital. (LSP)
