The Grade 5 Scholarship examination results for year 2013 have been released today, the Examinations Department announced.

School principals in the Colombo and Sri Jayawardenapura zonal educational areas should obtain their schools’ results sheets from the Commissioner General of Examinations, W M N J Pushpakumara.

The results sheets for the rural areas will be posted and the examination results will also be released through the web site www.doenets.lk

Sandaru Tathsara Balahewa of Mahinda College in Galle was placed first in the grade-five scholarship examination with 198 marks, while Kavindya Gimhani of Subharathi Mahamathya Vidyalaya in Godagama, Heshan Shanuka of Karagasthalawa Vidyalaya, Belihuloya and Gilani Viduranga from the Bandaranaike Primary School Hettimulla were placed second with each obtaining 196 marks.
