Government members of the PSC said that they would not respond to the Court of Appeal notice issued to them, in the writ application filed by Chief Justice Dr. Shirani Bandaranayake scheduled to be heard tomorrow.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror Minister Dilan Peera said that the speaker’s ruling on notice issued by the COA is clear.

“ As members of parliament we are bound by the speaker’s ruling and therefore we would not appear before the Court of Appeal tomorrow”

However speaking to the Daily Mirror TNA MP M.A. Sumanthiran said that they would file a proxy on behalf of Mr. R. Sambanthan who was issued notice. Therefore he said the TNA would be represented at tommorrow's hearing. ( Hafeel Farisz)
