A Golden Key Company depositor had staged a protest by climbing a tree outside the Supreme Court Complex to urge the authorities to take legal action against the Golden Key Company, our reporter said.

The protester told Daily Mirror that he had deposited about Rs.30 million in company and lost it all.

“I hope President Mahinda Rajapaksa will take action to mete out justice to the depositors, just as he has resolved such issues in the past in a reasonable way.” (Pix by Kushan Pathiraja)

Deeoal, only government servants whose salary is paid by tax money of the public require to declare thier assets to Parliament annually. All ministry heads inclusive of judiciary heads CJ downwards mandatory to give true information. if found guilty of giving false information of assets they will loose their job and no pension also.
