'Ghost train' report handed over to Minister

The committee appointed to look into the incident where a train took off without a driver, handed over its report to the Transport Minister Kumara Welgama today, the Ministry said

The Committee had said the shunt driver and the assistant of the train were responsible for the incident. The Ministry said the Railway Department would take disciplinary action on the driver and his assistant. (DS)
