French national drowns off Hikkaduwa

A 72-year-old French national is reported to have drowned in the sea off the Hikkaduwa Beach last evening.

Police said the body is lying at the Karapitiya Hospital Mortuary and that the postmortem examination would be held today.

Investigations are proceeding.
