FR challenging UPFA national list fixed for support

A Fundamental Rights petition filed by the Mahajana Eksath Peramuna (MEP) challenging the UPFA national list, was fixed for support on September 10 by the Supreme Court today when it was taken up before the three-judge bench.

Respondents informed court that they were yet to receive documents pertaining to the petition. The petitioner - MEP also said they would file an amended petition on September 10 in court. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)
