Let civil society/connected NGO's take meaning full steps with total participation, let us create a fund with voluntary contribution with a participation of respectable public servants. I am ready are you ready?????????/

Nothing to do with the maththala or Govnmnt. The people who put up these unauthorized structures should be dealt with. Where are the animal rights. We have encroached their land . Still these people will Bragg being good Buddhists and go to temple with flowers. Hipporites .

No country like Sri Lanka abusing and harassing animals in the world. The minister who is trying his best to save these elephants does not get the support from the public instead they follow their own methods to stop them getting to their lands. Quite recently some monkeys were poisoned .Stray dog culling too continues. They, the authorities, come announcing to the villages that they would neuter and vaccinate them for rabies. The next day they come in a three wheeler to give the euthanizing injection (If the injection was a sedative the animals need to be kept fasting for at least 8 hours before administrating it ) and take the bodies away. That's why the dogs never returned back. .

So SAD THAT THERE IS NO ONE TO TALK FOR THESE MAJESTIC ANUIMALS . THE LECTRIC FENCES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE A DETERENT . CAN SOME ONE NOT CHECK THE VOLTAGE OF THE FENCES ? NEXT TIME IT WILL BE A HUMAN .. WHO IS RESPOSIBLEW FOR MAINTAINING THE FENCES ?
