Five SL fishermen apprehended



The Indian Coast Guard on Tuesday apprehended five Sri Lankans along with their boat for fishing in Indian waters. They will be handed over to Tuticorin police on Wednesday.

An official release said the ICG ship, Vaibhav, while on routine patrol in Gulf of Mannar, apprehended a Sri Lankan fishing boat, south east of Manappad point, with about 300 kg of fish. (The Hindu)
