Drunken motorcyclist in Expressway

A drunken motorcyclist who had forcibly entered the Southern Expressway through the Welipenna entrance early this morning had been injured when the motorcycle collided with a van, Police said.

The motorcyclist had driven towards Galle, in the lane heading towards Colombo and had collided with a van. He was admitted to the Nagoda Hospital.

Further investigations are being carried out by the Welipenna Police. (Lahiru Pothmulla)

Lets wait and see if the legal system Sanath Jayasuriya mentioned in Kerala exists. The Van driver/owner and passengers must be compensated by the motorcyclist or his insurance. He must also be charged with culpable murder.
Let this be a lesson for all such idiots.

There should be strict law to revoke licence for one year to lifetime depending on the offence. Some countries revoke licence for 5 years for drink and drive!!!
