Parliament resumed the debate on the impeachment motion after the speaker suspended sittings for 10 minutes due to representations made by the Opposition leader who said that the PSC report had not been tabled to parliament and therefore there was no premise to continue the debate.

The speaker had then suspended sittings for ten minutes to give a ruling on the matter.

Thereafter the speaker Chamal Rajapaksa said that the representations made by the opposition did not form substantial premise to postpone the debate and ruled that the debate should continue.

The Parliament does not table anything relevant. They are totally under prepared to debate anything and this is clearly evident in the current Parliament.

Speaker would have suspended the debate to consult the king. King knows law because better than any one else he studied a deffer ant law with out sitting for the law entrance.
