Court turns down Bandara’s request

A request made by former Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) convener Sanjeewa Bandara to enter universities was refused by Colombo Fort Magistrate today.

The magistrate said the Court was not in a position to accede to Mr. Bandara’s request and informed him to contact the university authorities if he wanted to enter any particular university.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) on an earlier date confirmed that Mr. Bandara was not a university student. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)

This Guy thinks he has the ability to rule this country and knows every thing.He should be kept out of universities as he is not a student now. He can create chaos and disrupt the smooth functioning of universities if he is allowed entry.

Good! This guy nothing but trouble! Keep him out of these places, he has been student for over 5 years staying in the system so he can run the student unions while wasting our tax money, and not graduating

@Sanjeeva Bandara,

Why don't you relinquish this role so a worthy student attending university can actually make a worthwhile contribution?

You have held onto this position for too long and you haven't done anything for the students you are representing!!!

Also, my understanding is that you are in your late 30's??? and also NOT a university student.

So, why not give it up to a deserving student for everyone's benefit?

students should learn to appreciate the free education that they get and not complain about each and everything that goes wrong. He is bad influence. All students who create chaos should be punished and given that chance to some other deserving kid
