China's Senior Communist Party (CPC) leader Liu Yunshan will arrive in Sri Lanka today on a two- day official visit, the External Affairs Ministry said.

Liu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, makes the visit at the invitation of the Foreign Ministry of Sri Lanka.

CPC leader Liu Yunshan, during his visit in the country is scheduled to meet President Mahinda Rajapaksa and also Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne.(Darshana Sanjeewa)
