The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption today filed charges against Sajin de Vass Gunawardena in the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court under Section 9 of the Declaration of Assets and Liabilities Law No. 1 of 1975.

Police and. Bribery commission can do so much and file a case in Courts. But our justice system is modeled in a way to assist and protect wrong doers. Even a person with a return cheque for any amount cannot expect any relief from judges in Criminal court. This system have to be reformed if we are to have a Yaha pal abaya.
