Brawl inside Court

The Chief Magistrate of the Kalutara Magistrate Court suspend presiding of the Court yesterday after three suspects exchanged fisticuffs inside the cell within the court premises.

Thereafter charges were framed against them and two of them who pleaded guilty were sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for three months and the other who pleaded not guilty was ordered to be remanded until 10 March.
