A body of a Chinese national who was believed to have drowned on Wednesday (4) was found today some seven nautical miles off the Mirissa coastal belt. A group of tourists who were on a whale watching tour in the area discovered the body.

The Chinese national – a diver reportedly went missing while bathing with three other companions at Mirissa. (R.G.W.Jayawardena)
