Body of beheaded motorcyclist found in Middeniya

The beheaded body of a 30-year-old motorcyclist was found at Kariyamadiththa in Middeniya this morning while the body of a 48-year-old man was found hanging some 500 meters away, Police said.

They said their initial investigations had revealed that the motorcyclist had been killed while on his way home after attending a wedding ceremony.
Police suspect the other man to have committed suicide.

They said they were investigating whether there was any connection between the two incident.
