so close but yet so far, good effort to hold the game till the 5th day. however, SL could have done better its the batting that failed.and what is Randive going in the side? not contributed to anything he can't bowl. Dananjeya should be added and Chandimal too.

It is sad to see that we coudnt go for a draw as Australia was minus one main bowler due to injury and even the wicket keeper was used to bowl at our batsmen. But we couldnt capitalise on this situation.

Dragging the match until the last session of the test match is a great achievment by our boys specially when playing in Australian conditions. A little more effort would have helped us to save the match.

Although losing is part of the game, some of our players failed to put their fuulest effrots. In my opinion Mathew, Samaraweera, Sangakkara and Mahela have failed to focus their true colours.
