Two armed men who arrived on a motorcycle had robbed jewellery valued at Rs.1 million at a jewellery store on Stanly Thilakarathne Mawatha, Nugegoda this evening, Police said.

The robbers had come with face-covering helmets and robbed eight boxes of twenty four rings each, the Police said. Three special teams had been deployed to investigate the incident.
