A club bouncer hacked to death

A young man employed as a bouncer at an Aturugiriya Karaoke club was hacked to death at the club last night. The deceased Samith Tharindu Cooray alias Rayan was a resident of Budgamuwa Road, Welikada.
Four suspects including a Karaoke club employee and a driver of a politician were arrested and are being questioned.
The victim’s mother said the family was making arrangements to shift to Meegoda after selling their house at Welikada Junction to a businessman for Rs.8 million. (Siri Mahabellana)
