Young teen hacks elder brother to death in Kalutara

A 14-year old teenaged boy was arrested after he allegedly hacked his elder brother to death in Palathota in Kalutara.

The Kalutara South Police opened an investigation following a complaint made to 118 emergency centre that a youth was admitted to Nagoda Hospital with serious injuries caused by an attack with a machete where he later succumbed to injuries.

Investigation revealed that the deceased was at home with his younger brother and their mother went to hospital to visit her husband who was hospitalised.
