Woman killed, six injured in lightning strike

Colombo, April 28 (Daily Mirror) - One woman was killed and six others injured by a lightning strike while they were plucking tea leaves in a tea estate in Etampitiya.

The injured were admitted to the Etampitiya and Badulla Hospitals.

The deceased was idnetified as a plantation worker aged 47.

Etampitiya police are investigating.
