Week-long mobile services for private and semi-public sector employees

Colombo, Sep 17 (Daily Mirror) - Special mobile service programs will be conducted at all district and sub-labor offices from September 22 to 26, 2025, to assist employees in the private and semi-public sectors, the Labour Department announced.

During the program, employees can check their Employees Provident Fund (EPF) account balance, correct account details based on their National Identity Card, register as members, submit complaints, and obtain advice on labor laws.

The Department advised participants to bring their National Identity Card, B Card (if registered), and a letter from their employer in cases where amendments are required.
