Warm weather advisory issued for several areas

Colombo, July 30 (Daily Mirror) - The Natural Hazards Early Warning Centre of the Department of Meteorology has issued a "Warm Weather Advisory – Extreme Caution Level" for the Northern, Eastern and North-Central Provinces and the Moneragala and Hambantota districts, valid for tomorrow.

The Department urge the public to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks in shaded areas,check on elderly individuals and those who are ill, as they are more vulnerable to extreme heat, never leave children unattended inside vehicles, limit strenuous outdoor activities, seek shade and drink plenty of fluids and wear lightweight, light-colored or white clothing to stay cool.
