Colombo, July 10 (Daily Mirror) - Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath arrived in Kuala Lumpur today to take part in the 58th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM), which runs from July 8 to 11 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Herath’s participation underscores Sri Lanka’s ongoing engagement with regional partners under Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship for 2025. The high-level sessions are expected to focus on strengthening diplomatic, economic, and multilateral cooperation between Sri Lanka and ASEAN member states.

Foreign Ministers and senior officials from across the region are attending the meeting, which aims to address key regional priorities and promote greater collaboration across Southeast Asia.

Good luck comrade. If you are asked to speak or be interviewed please use the facility of a translator. It is not a shame to not to know a foreign language, It happens all the time in the world. But please do not pretend to know and make a fool of yourself. I have seen some interviews with the comrade and it was a disaster. We can sing bailas impressively. People voted for us not to reduce prices but to catch only certain corruptionists and wrongdoers. We are effectively enforcing Clean Sri Lanka although we have garbage dumps on the roadsides. We don't want to eliminate pets such as Mosquitoes, flies and rats which spread deadly diseases because doing so will upset the nature's balance.
