Video shows how gun was hidden in legal book to kill Ganemulla Sanjeewa
Colombo, Sept. 2 (Daily Mirror) - A newly emerged video has revealed the method used to smuggle the firearm into the Aluthkade Magistrate’s Court that was used in the killing of underworld figure Ganemulla Sanjeewa.
The footage shows the weapon concealed inside a hollowed-out legal book carried by an individual dressed as a lawyer.
The gun, hidden between the pages, was later retrieved in the courtroom and used to fatally shoot Sanjeewa, who was facing multiple criminal charges at the time.
