Vets ready to assist flood-affected animals

The Sri Lanka Veterinary Association (SLVA) says it is fully prepared to assist pets, livestock and stray animals affected or trapped by the ongoing floods across the country.

Accordingly, the association has released the following emergency contact numbers for assistance:

In a statement, SLVA President Dr. Sugath Premachandra urged the public to reach out if they come across animals in need of rescue or medical care.
