Veteran actor Nihal Fernando passes away at 71

Colombo, Dec. 4 (Daily Mirror) - Veteran actor Nihal Fernando has passed away at the age of 71, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances in stage plays, films, and teledramas.

Fernando made his public debut in Simon Nawagathtegamage’s play Stree and went on to perform in numerous stage productions, including Suba Saha Yasa, Sudu Saha Kalu, Ekadhipathi, Pandukabhaya, and Angara Ganga Gala Basi. His contributions to the Sri Lankan performing arts industry have left a lasting impression on audiences and colleagues alike.
