Upuldeniya further remanded

Colombo, June 25 (Daily Mirror) - Former Commissioner General of Prisons Thushara Upuldeniya was today ordered to be further remanded till July 9 by Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali Jayatunga.

He stands accused of fabricating an official document to falsely state that 37 inmates had been granted a Presidential pardon, despite only 36 names having been legally approved by the President.
