Update: Man injured in Thalangama shooting, dies

A 41-year-old man who was injured after he was shot at in a house at Thalawathugoda in Thalangama, died while undergoing treatment at the hospital last night.

Police said two men had arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire at the victim last night.

The injured was admitted to the Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital where he later sucumbbed to injuries.

The motive of the shooting is yet to be revealed and the Thalangama Police are conducting investigations to apprehend the suspects.
