Unrest reported at Boossa Prison
Colombo, Jan. 16 (Daily Mirror) - A tense situation that erupted at the Boossa Prison today (January 16) was brought under control by prison authorities, officials said.
According to the Prisons Department, a group of inmates had climbed on to the roof of the D Ward and engaged in unruly behaviour, damaging property while staging a protest against the prison administration.
